This house locates in the suburban area which has been developed for residential use, and still has the look of "Musashino".
When we asked an advice from the client, we recommended purchasing the site of which a park with a big zelkova tree lays side-by-side in west.
The housing design was planned to utilize the zelkova tree as a borrowed landscape. This big tree gives the client
the sense of feeling seasons.
As the clients were elderly couples, layout plan has been created to focus on the first floor. Compared to the first floor, the second floor is relatively small, however, it has a large roof.
敷地は郊外に宅地開発された区画で、周囲は武蔵野の面影が残る場所です。
敷地の購入について設計者の意見を求められ、最終的には西側に大きなケヤキがある公園に面した敷地をお勧めしました。
設計を進める上で公園内のケヤキを借景として、室内に取り込むこととしました。 この大樹は、住まい手にとって四季を感じさせる役割を持つと思われます。
平面は、住まい手が年配のご夫婦であられるため、１階に主を置きＬ字型 となりました。全体からみて２階部分は小さく大きな屋根で覆うことができました。
