This house locates in a 1-2 minute walk away from the coast, which leads to the ancient capital city of Kamakura in about 15 minutes walk north.
As a result of thinking what kind of overall pictures should be in this beautiful surroundings of this area, the design has became simple and open.
The center of the house is the second floor which has a kitchen in the open area, spacious living, and large balcony, in consideration of views and privacy. This resulted that private rooms such as bedroom, guest room and bathroom are in the first floor and the wider balcony locates at the second floor.
Considering of the view, loft space and room balcony were provided in the third floor by using the roof slope.
敷地は海岸から１～２分の位置にあり、北へ１５分ほどで古都鎌倉の市街地に至ります。
この地域の美しい環境に、どのような全体像があるべきか考えた結果、シンプルでかつ開放的なデザインに努めました。
平面は眺望とプライバシーを考え、２階にオープンキッチンと広々としたリビング、 大きなバルコニーを設けた２階中心の住まいです。したがって、１階は寝室、客室、 浴室など個室を置き、コンクリート造ではね出しました。また、３階には屋根勾配を利用したロフトとルーフバルコニーを設け眺望に配慮しました。
